The Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition is among the East Tennessee charities benefiting from the Oct. 25 presentation by “Uncle Si” and Alan Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” fame.

The Knoxville Rotary Club presentation starts at 7 p.m. in Knoxville Civic Auditorium as a fundraiser for the organization’s charitable endeavors.

“We wanted to do something bigger this year than we’ve ever done in the past,” said organizer and Rotarian Greg Maciolek.

“We wanted something that people would be drawn to and that would help us be able to give back financially in a greater way to the local charities we support.”

“Duck Dynasty” is a reality show on A&E focusing on the lives of the Robertson family of the Duck Commander empire in Monroe, La.

“The Robertsons have built a multi-milliondollar sporting empire manufacturing duck calls ... and have earned a seat in homes across the country with their special brand of downhome practicality, Southern charm and sharp sense of humor,” A&E reports on its website, www.aetv.com.

“Uncle Si” is known for his storytelling and “Hey!” expression. Nephew Alan, or the beardless member of the Robertson clan, joined his famous family in season 4 of the series.

With the announcement of this famous duo coming to town, VIP tickets sold out in a matter of minutes online.

Tickets are still available for the show and range in price from $55-$75 for seating.

They may be purchased online at www.knoxvilletickets.com or by calling 656-4444.
