’Round Rockwood-September 17

We enjoyed very much a nice visit from Raymond and Faye Eblen on Thursday, Sept. 14.

They live in Kingston on a farm. Raymond has been president of the Roane County Farm Bureau for several years since my late husband served as Roane County Farm Bureau president for 40 years.

Faye brought me a pink Farm Bureau cap to wear for Cancer Awareness Week. Also several Farm Bureau leaflets to hand out to my friends.

We extend get-well wishes to Ina who has a broken arm she sustained in a fall in her home. She has just been able to come back to our Victorian Square dining room as of today, Sept. 14.

We look forward to having a covered-dish dinner with our family at Dr. Joe McKinney and Kathleen McKinney's home in Lakemont Heights in Rockwood.

I enjoyed a brief visit with Heather Galliher on Friday, Sept 14.

I enjoyed a nice visit from Ada and Benny East, who came by to visit me recently. They live in Glen Alice near the Roane and Rhea County line.

I enjoyed a piece of cake made especially for Pat Smith by Connie Jones for Pat's birthday.
