The noncustodial mother of a 3-year-old Roane County child is now in custody after a long search.
Amy Barber-McDonough was found with her son, Frank Williams Qualls, on Saturday, Sept. 29.
Frank has been returned to his custodial father.
“She was picked up by Knoxville Police Department. She was in a hotel,” Roane County Sheriff Jack Stockton said.
Stockton said Detective Bryan Walker got a call from the FBI who had located her somewhere in Knox County.
