Accolades for three at Roane State

Fisher ’11 Benroth recipient; White, Driskill outstanding

Roane State Community College faculty member Bruce Fisher and staff members Nichole White and Owen Driskill have been honored for their work.


Fisher, a biology professor, received the 2011 Sarah Ellen Benroth Award for Outstanding Teaching.
White, multimedia technician in the college’s Center for Teaching Arts and Technology, was named the college’s 2011 outstanding support staff member.

Driskill, director of marketing and public relations, was named the 2011 administrative staff member of the year.

Roane State is a two-year college providing transfer curricula, career-preparation programs and continuing education. Founded in 1971, the college has campuses in Roane County, Crossville, Huntsville, Jamestown, Knoxville, LaFollette, Lenoir City, Oak Ridge and Wartburg.
