The U.S. Department of Energy is seeking volunteers to fill current and future vacancies on the Oak Ridge Site Specific Advisory Board.
The board is a federally chartered citizens’ panel that provides recommendations to the DOE’s Oak Ridge Environmental Management Program, which is responsible for cleanup of the Oak Ridge Reservation.
The 20-member board meets monthly to develop recommendations on cleanup decisions and policy issues. Terms last two years, and members may serve up to three terms.
Interested applicants can apply through Dec. 31.
