Ag Center cattle sale set for Friday

The University of Tennessee Plateau AgResearch and Education Center near Crossville will have its annual fall cattle sale Nov. 16.

The sale will start at 11 a.m.

It will feature open and bred cows from the center’s herd, all of which are registered Angus, Gelbvieh or Balancer cows.

Minimum bids per head will be required.

The cows will be penned and available for viewing beginning Nov. 15.

Registration documentation will also be available.

The sale will be conducted by Marcka Auction Services, with Marcus Davis as auctioneer.

It will be at the center's headquarters on Hwy. 70 North, about 8 miles west of Crossville.
