Alcoa proved Friday night why they are perennially one of Class AA’s elite teams with a 62-0 win over the Oliver Springs Bobcats.
Alcoa jumped out to an early lead with 7:11 to go in the opening quarter with Chase James connecting with Sam Thompson from 45 yards out, finishing out a four-play, 68-yard drive.
Derrick Brodus hit the PAT to give the Tornadoes an early 7-0 lead.
