Ann F. Brown died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, in Park West Medical Center, Knoxville, after suffering a massive stroke on Oct. 8.
A dear mother and friend, she was of the Christian faith and a longtime member of Harriman First Christian Church. She was a strong, kind and loving family matriarch who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph West, R.L. Yeargan and Tommie Brown; parents, Earl and Pearl Ford; brothers, Jim Ford, T.E. "Bus" Ford and Richard "Dickey" Ford; and sisters, Margie Newman, Louise Cofer and Evelyn Scandlyn.
Survivors include brother, Carl Ford; sons and daughter-in-law, James Stephen West and James Y. and Tommie West; granddaughters and grandson-in-law, Jeanne and Donnie Moore and Jayme West; great-grandsons, Jonathan Bennett, Shadow West and Devin West; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in Harriman First Christian Church, with Minister Nathan Williams officiating. Cremation Options, Knoxville, is in charge of arrangements.
