Applications taken for energy assistance

Mid-East Community Action Agency is presently taking applications for energy assistance.

Those who have not applied for assistance since July 1, 2010, need to apply this month.

Applications are available online at www.MECAA.net or at Mid-East’s office at 1362 N. Gateway Ave., Rockwood.

The office is open weekdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and from 12:15 to 3 p.m.

Applications will also be available April 18 in Harriman Community Center and Mount Pisgah Baptist Church of Oliver Springs.
