Area 4 small division tournament update

Three Roane County teams advanced through the Area 4 Small Division Tournament, but two more teams would not be as fortunate as their season came to a close on the final day of the tourney.

The Rockwood Tigers were the big winners Saturday as they drew a bye into the East Tennessee Small Division Sectional Basketball Tourna-ment when they came away with the Area 4 championship. Rockwood put together a fabulous fourth quarter rally to defeat Lenoir City for the championship, 30-29.
