Nick Armes recently passed the Tennessee Bar Exam and is now practicing law with the Judkins Law Firm in Oak Ridge.
Armes is an East Tennessee native and was born and raised in Roane and Anderson counties.
He graduated with honors from the Appalachian School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the school’s main law review.
Prior to attending law school, Armes graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and Roane State Community College, each with high honors.
He plans to practice in personal injury, family law, criminal defense, Social Security disability, Workers Compensation and several other areas of law.
Armes said he is excited to work with Joe Judkins, who has been practicing law for several years in East Tennessee.
In addition to practicing law, Armes plans to become a Rule 31 civil and family law mediator and has already completed most of his training.
He also teaches in the paralegal studies department at Roane State Community College and is a published author.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his parents, Jerome and Lisa Armes.
He also enjoys having lunch throughout the week with his grandmother, Arlene Slack. The practice has been a family tradition since Armes was a toddler.
