The Tennessee Valley Authority’s handling of the Dec. 22, 2008 ash spill at Kingston Fossil Plant brings differing opinions from the two men vying for Kingston’s top elected office in June.
Incumbent Mayor Troy Beets said he believes the agency is handling it as well as they can, but he would like them to be further along than they are.
“I don’t think TVA is trying to run and hide,” Beets said.
