The Roane County Beer Board is scheduled to meet on Tuesday to consider an application for an on and off premises beer permit.

The applicant is Deborah Violet, 181 Tacoma Road, Oak Ridge.

The permit is for Maggie’s Place, 3015 Harriman Hwy., Harriman.

The property is owned by Tony Clough. According to Violet’s application, Bill Lassiter held the last beer permit at the location.

Members of the public can appear before the Beer Board to express approval or disapproval of the permit.

Tuesday’s meeting is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. at the Roane County Courthouse in Kingston.

Maggie’s Place is two miles from the Grill & Pub.

The Beer Board considered revoking the permit for the Grill & Pub in 2011, but relented after the owner agreed to certain conditions.
