Betty Jo Hensley

Betty Jo Hensley, 52, of Loudon, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012, in Roane Medical Center in Harriman.

She was of the Baptist faith. Her hobbies included being a ham radio operator and assisting emergency management in that capacity.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rosie McPherson.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick Hensley, Loudon; four sons, Andy Hensley and wife Alicia, William Hensley, Jess Hensley and wife Carrie, and Ronald Hensley, all of Loudon; two sisters, Rose Lee Frost, Rockwood, and Dorothy Humphreys, Kingston; two brothers Junior McPherson, Wartburg, and Johnny McPherson, Harriman. She is also survived by four grandchildren Pete, Xaviar, Ashlyn and Gracie Hensley; and special family friends Jane Diamond, Sam Gentry, Robert Edington and Francis Malone.

Graveside service was at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Swan Pond Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Griffis officiating. Kyker Funeral Home, Kingston, was in charge of arrangements.
