Betty Sue Alexander, 70, of Harriman, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Roane Medical Center in Harriman.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy E. Adkisson and Rosanna Cox; and her parents, Herman Haynes and Maxine Sutton.
She is survived by two sons, Scott Dillard Hall, Kingston, and Thomas Edward Shelton, Georgia; six grandchildren, Kaci Amber Hall, Justin Adam Cox, Amanda and Bridgett Ledbetter, Thomas Shelton Jr. and Constance Shelton; a brother and sister-in-law, Marshall and Mary Jane Haynes, Warwick, R.I.; a sister, Doris Gibson, Harriman; special friends, Thelma Phillips and Dorothy Bray; and her special pet and companion, Dillon.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, in Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services followed at 8 p.m. Burial services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
