Bible supports Israel, Israelites support the world

-A A +A

The Bible says, “I will bless them who bless you and curse you.” (Genesis 12:1-3)The word “you” in this text refers to Israel. Even though this message was written long ago in the Old Testament, God’s word clearly states, His word never changes.

This was His covenant with Israel.

At this time, they are the only longstanding democracy in the Middle East. We have not made them so. All Israel’s citizens are free to pursue life, liberty and happiness while others try to kill them.

Israel develops great technologies which, by the way, the rest of the Middle East covets and gladly uses. Have they been as generous to the world?

To the best of their ability, Israel takes care of its own, even against foreign threats. All other Middle Eastern countries thrive on their natural resource riches for their dictators and subject their citizens to poverty and their neighbors to constant threat.

They can’t even agree with each other; they are takers and hypocrites. Some Americans and others will see only what they want to see concerning Israel.

As a child of the King (John 14:6) once I saw dimly, but now I see fully (1 Corinthians 13:12-13). God’s design (covenant) with Israel will be fulfilled no matter what we as a people will choose to do. Personally, I choose the blessing God promises, I pray America will.

We must support those “like thinkers” standing for freedom and democracy.
