Luminary United Methodist Church will provide free access to medical specialists and health related service providers from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 20 in the church at 3401 River Road, Ten Mile.
The free medical tests will include up to 100 free fasting comprehensive blood-screening panels, including prostate-specific antigen tests to be performed by the Summit Medical Group of Knoxville.
Registration for the blood screening will be at the initial check-in table at the entry to the fellowship hall in the back of the church.
The University of Tennessee Breast Health Outreach Program will have its digital mammography mobile unit onsite.
Mammograms for uninsured and insured women will be offered from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants must be ages 40 and older. Call 865-305-9753 in advance to schedule an appointment.
Other free medical tests will include vision screening; ear, nose and throat screening; colon cancer screening; skin cancer screening; stroke screening; bone-density screening for post-menopausal women; blood-pressure readings; and body-mass index readings.

Health providers involved will include Dermatology Associates of Oak Ridge, Oak Ridge Gastroenterology Associates PC, Vascular Diagnostics Center of Oak Ridge, Tennessee Eye Care and Home Health Care of East Tennessee.
Several area and regional assistance agencies and organizations will have representatives on site to provide awareness materials for support and services for families with children and seniors; United Way social services; sexual assault; domestic violence; public health and safety; tax help; emergency services; disaster relief; home health care; Alzheimer’s patient support; preventive health care; wellness care; and donor services.
Free refreshments will be provided by Luminary United Methodist Church, including hot coffee, tea, juice and muffins.
