Boys Game

It may have been a good old-fashioned "slobber-knocker" on the hardwood at John Jackson Memorial Gymnasium on Friday night, but it was the inability to hit water had they fallen out of a boat on this night that spelled doom for the Oliver Springs Bobcats as the Coalfield Yellow Jackets persevered for a big 49-37 win in district competition.

The Bobcats started the game with a 12-8 lead at the end of the first period. Collin Moss (5 points) led the 'Cats at the end of the opening period and Ryan Hill (4 points) led the Jackets.

Ryan Hill (5 points) and Johnson (4 points) led the Jackets in the third period.
