The Oliver Springs Lady 'Cats left the Sunbright Lady Tigers in a "purple haze" as the Lady 'Cats tacked on an emphatic 55-17 win Friday evening.
Oliver Springs started the game on an 8-0 run to escape the opening period with an 11-5 lead. An 18-5 stretch for most of the second period gave the Lady 'Cats a 31-12 halftime lead.
From there, the rout was on as Oliver Springs used a 17-3 third period to get out to a 48-15 lead. A 7-2 final stanza would give the Lady 'Cats the 38-point win.
