Braxton Chapel to give 4 scholarships

Braxton Chapel AME Zion Church, Kingston, is taking applications for scholarships to be given to four high school and/or college students.

Applications will be accepted through June 10. Scholarships will range from $500 to $1,000.

“Part of our church’s mission is building our character and community,” the Rev. Marc Green said. “An important part of this is education. Therefore, we have created the Braxton Chapel Scholarship fund to assist up to four deserving Christian high school and/or college students in their pursuit of higher learning.
