Byrge to play hoops at Roane State

Talk about throwing a curveball. Oakdale’s Morgan Byrge has been one of the top softball prospects in Morgan County the last couple of years, so it wasn’t a surprise at all when folks heard she was going to play college ball. However, the two-sport athlete decided to hang up the cleats and get out her sneakers as she signed a letter-of-intent last Tuesday to play basketball at Roane State Community College.
