Career Day at Roane State

High School juniors talk with local professionals

Local Roane County businesses talked with every eleventh grade student from all five Roane County schools at the fifth annual High Schools Career Day put on by the Roane County Chamber of Commerce.  
   In the Roane State Community College gymnasium students were able to learn about different career paths and what education or training could be required.
    Organizations participating in the Career Day were split into “Career Clusters,” some of the clusters were: Arts and Communication, Armed Forces, Business Management, Health Science, Human Services, and Education.
   Students are able to meet business leaders, entrepreneurs, and employers to help start networking a future career.
   Multiple companies were accepting resumes’ thought out the event.
