Powerful Tools for Caregivers is an educational series designed to provide family caregivers with the tools needed to take care of themselves while caregiving.

The program’s goal is to help unpaid family caregivers reduce stress, improve self-confidence, better communicate feelings, balance their lives, and increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.

Participants will receive a book, “The Caregiver Helpbook,” developed specifically for the class.

The program is now in its second decade. More than 1,900 certified trainers in 32 states have delivered the training to more than 70,000 caregivers.

This course is only for active family caregivers, rather than professionals.
