'Cats land 10 on all-district team

After posting a 5-6 record in 2012, Wiley Brackett’s Oliver Springs Bobcats were rewarded with 10 players being named to the 2012 All-District 4-A Football Team.

Seven of those players were named to the first team as Shawn Childress, Dalton Hamilton, Dakota Miles, Michael Nelson, John Simms, Eddie Stephenson and Austin West were selected.

Oliver Springs’ three second team selections include Kyle McGhee, Markus Miller and Brandon Morgan.

A total of 14 players received superlative awards in 2012 with 12 of those players coming from Coalfield or Oneida.
