'Cats split with Mavs

It was a good news, bad news type of night Monday for the Oliver Springs Bobcats and Lady ‘Cats in their home meeting with Anderson County.

The good news came in the girls game as Oliver Springs knocked off the Lady Mavericks, 46-41.

The news wasn’t as good in the final game of the evening as Anderson County handed the Bobcats a 70-58 setback.

Oliver Springs’ girls return to action Saturday when they travel to Sullivan East.
