The Cherokee Middle School Yellow Jackets improved to 3-0 in the district and 3-1 overall with a thrilling 28-22 three-overtime win at Rockwood.
Cherokee had grabbed a 14-0 lead late in the second quarter, but Rockwood began its comeback with a last-second touchdown just before halftime.
The Tigers tied the game at 14 with an early third-quarter TD, then the two teams then had to battle through three overtimes before Cherokee got the winning score on a 10-yard run from James Daley.
