The second meeting of the season between Cherokee and Midway Middle Schools would see the same results as the first, but how they got those results were very different.
The Lady Jackets rolled to a 25-point win about three weeks ago at Midway, but back at home on Thursday, Cherokee had to work a bit harder to get a 37-19 win over the Lady Waves.
Cherokee improved to 12-2 with the win in their first game since Christmas break. Midway drops to 4-7.
