Christmas basket applicants sought at Kingston church

Kingston United Methodist Church has reserved dates and times within the month to take applications for its 2011 Christmas basket program.

Applications will be accepted in the church’s ministry center at 212 W. Church St.

They will be accepted from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 19 and Nov. 1.

Daytime hours have also been established. Applications may be submitted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 20, Oct. 25-26 and Nov. 1.

Those applying are asked to bring photo identification and proof of income for the household. Teacher’s name and school should be supplied for children who are school age.

Due to limited space because of the fire at Kingston United Methodist Church, Nov. 1 is the deadline for basket applications.

Emergency applications may or may not be accepted.
