Christopher finishes second in Miss Basketball voting

For the second straight year, Oliver Springs' Kayla Christopher has finished as a runner-up in the TSSAA Class A Miss Basketball Award.

Christopher, McEwen's Andrea Hobson and Jackson County's Laken Leonard were the three finalists and Leonard was presented the award after the TSSAA Class A Championship game on Saturday.

The Miss Basketball award, however, is just about the only award that Christopher didn't win during her four years at Oliver Springs.
