City debates leftover TVA funds

Rockwood officials will be voting Thursday on what they would like to do with the remainder of the TVA funds they have to request through the Roane County Economic Development Foundation.

Mayor James Watts said the city has several projects to consider for the more than $600,000 left.

One of them involves  giving several hundred thousand dollars to the Rockwood Water, Sewer and Natural Gas department to deal with infiltration into the water and sewer systems and for line replacement.

Other projects involve the Rockwood Parks and Recreation Department.
