Tuesday night was a big night for Rockwood head coach Paul Kamikawa as he picked up his 400th career coaching victory with a 79-22 pasting of Tennessee School for the Deaf (TSD).

Most of Kamikawa’s 400 wins have been tough, but Tuesday’s victory was a cake walk as the Tigers actually had enough points in the first quarter for the victory. The Tigers scored 23 points in the opening period with Cleveland Davidson and Brendan Kirkland both scoring seven points in the frame.

The second quarter was more of the same as the Tigers put 24 points on the board. Josh Boles led the attack in the period with eight points while Davidson scored six more.

The third quarter was another big quarter for the Tigers as they again put 24 points on the board. Hunter Golliher scored six points in the frame to lead the Tigers while Anderson Almeida added five.

The Tigers took their foot off the gas in the fourth quarter as they only scored eight points.

A total of 12 Tigers scored on the night with Davidson (17 points), Boles (11 points), Kirkland (10 points) and Cameron Webster (10 points) scoring in double figures.

The Tigers close out the pre Christmas portion of their schedule Tuesday night with a home game against Kingston.
