Cobb enters not guilty plea; burglar nabbed

According to an incident report from the Rhea County Sheriff’s Department, Wanda Sue Goins told police she thought District 31 state Rep. Jim Cobb was going to hit her on Aug. 2.
Cobb, R-Spring City, lost to Ron Travis in the Republican Primary that day. The district includes a portion of Roane County.
According to the report, Goins was sitting in her wheel chair when she encountered Cobb at a polling place.
