Collier on the mend

Despite having gone through major surgery, Roane County Commissioner Bobby Collier hasn’t lost his sense of humor.    

“If I don’t get back before too long, they’ll have that budget screwed up,” he quipped on Friday.

Collier, who serves on the county budget committee, underwent heart surgery at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville last week.

His sister, Roane County Commissioner Carolyn Granger, said it was touch and go at one point.
