Ralph O’Neal isn’t having any more luck as his own lawyer than he did as a crack cocaine dealer.
He’s set to be arraigned for first-degree murder in Roane County Criminal Court today, June 27, despite multiple motions he’s filed to have the case thrown out.
O’Neal is charged with the August 2007 murder of Ronnie Dean Cofer. O’Neal, 36, has been acting as his own attorney. In one of his motions, he argues that the case should be thrown out because the grand jury foreman was white.
