County to mull documentary

From Fort Southwest Point in Kingston to the Princess Theater in Harriman, Roane County has a very rich history.

Now a local film producer is looking to document that history for the county.

Keith McDaniel, owner of Secret City Films in Oak Ridge, wants to make a DVD that includes 12 “snapshots” of Roane County.

McDaniel said he began brainstorming the idea with County Executive Mike Farmer six months ago.
