While it wasn't the most stylish win, it was a win nonetheless for the Harriman Middle School Lady Blue Devils over Fort Loudon by a 27-22 tally on Thursday night.
Fort Loudon scored the first two points of the contest, but Harriman closed the opening period on a 7-0 surge with Christina Pack (5 points) serving as the lead scorer.
Fort Loudon whittled the deficit down to 10-7 at the half.
In period number three, the Lady Devils doubled their lead to 19-13 at the close of period number three. Marie-Claire Crass (6 points) was now the leading scorer.
Fort Loudon managed to pull within 27-22 at the end of the game, but the Lady Devils would be the victors on this night.
Harriman owned a 37-26 edge on the boards but gave up an 11-5 tally in team steals.
Cheyenne Presswood (7 points) and Crass (6 points, 8 boards) led the Lady Devils in scoring with Olivia Goins (10 boards), and Asia Bazel (9 boards) all playing well in the win.

The Blue Devils completed the sweep with a 41-27 victory in the final game of the evening.
Harriman came out blazing to a 7-2 lead before giving up a 9-2 tilt after that to trail at the end of the first period 11-9.
Eli Duncan (7 points) led the Devils in the opening period.
Harriman came out rolling to a whopping 18-3 tilt in the second period to take a commanding 27-14 halftime lead.
Sheldon Anderson (10 points) led the Devils in scoring at the half.
A 10-5 third period pushed the lead to 37-19 going into the final period.
Nate Arrowood (16 points) led the Devils at this point.
Harriman would cruise to the 41-27 win the rest of the way. Harriman owned a 31-17 tilt on the boards and had an 11-9 edge in team steals.
Arrowood (16 points, 6 boards), Duncan (11 points), and Anderson (10 points) all broke into double-digits in scoring. Tyler Jenkins (5 assists) also had a strong showing in the win.
