Early voting light for this set of races

Turnout was relatively light during early voting.

According to the Roane County Election Commission, 3,206 votes were cast during the period, which ran from July 18 through Aug. 2.

In the Aug. 3, 2006, countywide election, 6,662 people cast their ballots in early voting.

Election Day is this Thursday. The polls open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
