Elvis tribute shows to help stock food pantry

Courts of Praise Church, Harriman, will have some king-sized help to raise money and food donations for its food pantry with Memories of Elvis this weekend.

Rick Hammond will present two shows that pay tribute to Elvis Presley, known as The King of Rock’n’Roll.

His Memories of Elvis begins at 7 p.m. May 3 in the Princess Theatre. Doors open at 6:30; admission is $10 per person or $5 with donation of canned food items.

Hammond will present Memories of Elvis: Gospel Edition, at 7 p.m. May 4 in Courts of Praise Church at 229 Carter Ave.

Doors open at 6:30. Admission is free, but donations of canned foods will be accepted.
