The Lindsey Fadnek pitching clinic made a stop in Oliver Springs last Tuesday, holding the Lady 'Cats to two hits as the Coalfield Lady Jackets took a 6-0 win over their district rivals.

Coalfield's Fadnek and Oliver Springs' Kayla Aloisi had a two-inning scoreless duel, but in the top of the third inning, Coalfield scored on an RBI single by Erica Foster and a two-run double by Dakota Sise.

The Lady Jackets boosted that lead in the top of the fourth on a two-run single by Andrea Foster to make the score 5-0.

In the top of the seventh, Coalfield got their final run on a base-hit error by Megan Steelman to make the final score 6-0.

Coalfield was led at the plate by Dakota Sise (2-3, 1 2B, 2 RBIs, 1 walk) and Hannah Melhorn (2-3, 1 2B, 1 walk) with Fadnek (CG, 11 Ks, no walks, 2 hits) pitching the shutout.

Oliver Springs' hits came from Kayla Crisp and Shelby Miller. Aloisi (CG, 9 Ks, 8 walks, 7 hits, 6 ER) was tallied with the loss.
