It was a game of missed opportunities on Senior Night for the Oliver Springs Bobcats baseball team, as seven base-runners were left stranded for the 'Cats, leaving no joy for the Bobcat nine in a 4-0 loss to the Fulton Falcons.

Fulton got on the board first with a run coming home in the opening inning while leaving a man stranded on third base.

Oliver Springs started the game going three-up and three-down to make the score 1-0 at the end of the first inning.

Fulton was held at bay, unable to punch across any runners the next four innings with the 'Cats leaving a man on first in the bottom of the second, a man on second in the bottom of the third inning, and runners at the corners in the bottom of inning number four. There was also a man left on first in the bottom of the fifth for Oliver Springs.

In the top of the sixth, the Falcons brought home a run while leaving men on second and third.

The 'Cats would go three up and three down while Fulton padded their lead in the top of the final inning to 4-0 while leaving men on first and second.

The 'Cats desperately tried to mount a run, but left runners on first and second to be dealt the 4-0 defeat.

Tanner Turpin (1-4) had the lone hit of the day for the 'Cats while Caleb Armetta (4 IP, 1 hit, 3 BBs, 4 Ks 1 ER) was tallied with the loss.
