Organizers call it “The first of its kind in Roane County.” It will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 13 and from 9 to 3 p.m. Sept. 14 in the church at 106 Morrison Hill Circle.

The conference is organized by Brenda Wright, a Bible teacher at Morrison Hill Christian Church.

“I just want to help (women) heal and know I have sinned and fallen short of His glory but found redemption in knowing Him as my personal savior,” she said.

The conference is described as “a God-sized movement, a catalyst to ignite healing and unity among women, where women from all walks and stages of life can come together as sisters — uniting in one God.”

Scheduled speakers come from a range of denominations, including Sonja Wood, who has been involved in Christian ministries for more than 35 years; Bible studies teacher Kay Crouch and licensed marriage and family therapist Sarah Littlefield of Kingston.

Women growing in community for God’s great purpose is a priority for the Fall Into His Arms Women’s Conference.

Those expected to attend are estimated to range in age from 16-75, with the average participant to be between 25-55.

Littlefield, who has worked with families for more than 10 years, said she aspires to give others hope.

“What drew me to this conference is the need for healing,” she said. “There is a huge need for healing.  There is a need for forgiveness: forgiveness of self, forgiveness towards the one that may have caused the hurt.”

Crouch, a Farragut resident and Bible study teacher for more than 20 years, agreed.

“As we seek to grow as individuals, and grow in our walk in the lord Jesus, one of the most common hindrances to that growth is really unforgiveness," she said.

Unashamed, a group of Christian musicians, will provide the music for the conference, which is open to women of all faiths.

Registration is open through Sept. 10. Tickets are $35 and will be sold at the door if seating space is still available.
