A fast start proved to be the difference Friday night at Rockwood as the Harriman Lady Blue Devils opened the game with a 23-4 run and the rest was history as the Lady Devils cruised to 53-37 victory in a key District 3-A battle for both teams.
Harriman’s quickness on defense gave Rockwood fits early on as the Lady Devils led 15-4 after eight minutes of play.
Lady Devil point guard Moriah Anderson led the early assault with nine points while Lyndsey Daugherty added four.
