Ferguson sign complaint filed

Republican State House of Representatives candidate Julia Hurley filed a report with police on Wednesday, alleging she was threatened by her opponent’s relative.
Greg Ferguson, brother of Democrat state Rep. Dennis Ferguson, denied the claim.  
“She got a police report because she was told to get a police report,” Greg Ferguson said.
Kingston Police Lt. Gary Nelson said police received a call to go to the corner of Court and Third streets, which is near the Roane County Courthouse, concerning threats.
