Harriman Fire Chief Brad Goss and his firefighters have had a busy season conducing various fundraisers, including hot dog sales at a recent Cruisin’ event downtown and a pancake breakfast, to raise money to buy a utility transport vehicle.
The department’s next fundraiser is a cornhole tournament this weekend.
The tournament, which will adhere to Cornhole Players Association rules, will start at 4 p.m. June 9 across from Harriman Fire Station 1 at 603 Walden Ave.
Early registration fee is $30; those wishing to participate may sign up at Fire Station 1 or call 882-3072 for details.
Registration the day of the tournament will be $35 per player until 3:30 p.m.
