Fugitive corralled in Hamilton County

David Paul Wicks allegedly eluded authorities following a high-speed chase last July. He wasn’t so lucky this week, however.
According to a Roane County Sheriff’s Office report, two deputies picked him up at the Hamilton County Jail on Tuesday.
Wicks is charged in Roane County with reckless endangerment, simple possession, evading arrest, reckless driving, aggravated assault, speeding, driving on a suspended license, violation of probation and failure to appear.
