Three years have past since the death of David Harvey and Eric Gallaher has still not faced a jury. His trial that was scheduled for Tuesday in Roane County Criminal Court was postponed.
The case has been postponed multiple times before.
Gallaher’s attorney, Donice Butler, was recently suspended by order of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
District Attorney General Russell Johnson said that’s the reason for the latest postponement.
A new trial date will be set at the Aug. 15 docket sounding.
