Geraldine Humphreys Shanahan

Geraldine Humphreys Shanahan, 76, of Ten Mile, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012, in Parkwest Medical Center.

She was a member of High Ridge Baptist Church and a retired employee of Hennessee Apparel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Shanahan; two grandchildren, Stan Reed and William Lowe; her parents, Taylor and Roberta Walker Humphreys; a sister, Barbara Fay Humphreys; and five brothers, Gwain, Walker, Edwin, Edward and Murrell Humphreys.

Survivors include five children and spouses, Angela Smith, Philadelphia, Tammy and Jay Lowe, David and Tracy Shanahan, and Joey and Helen Shanahan, all of Ten Mile, and Stanley and Vickie Shanahan, Rockwood; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers Don Humphreys (Rena), Lynn Humphreys (Ruth), and Glen Humphreys (Brenda); and a sister, Mrs. Marvin (Janice) Frisbie, Philadelphia.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, in High Ridge Baptist Church, with funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Rolen and the Rev. Ted Clower officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery, with the Rev. Taylor Adams officiating. Loudon Funeral Home in is charge of arrangements.
