Stricter Tennessee laws regarding immunization requirements will have a detrimental effect on students entering Roane County Schools this fall.
Students without proper immunizations will be prohibited from starting the school year in August, said Patricia Wells, school health coordinator of Roane County Schools.
All Pre-K, kindergarten and present sixth-graders advancing to seventh grade this fall must receive proper immunizations before entering school.
