Giant-scale radio-control plane meet this weekend

The Tennessee Eagles Radio Control Club will have a giant-scale radio-control model airplane meet Sept. 11-12 on the Harriman field.
The Sunday show will be open flying; everyone, regardless of the size of the plane, will be able to participate.
Giant-scale planes are required to have a wingspan of 80 inches for monoplanes, 60 inches for biplanes, or be 1/4 scale.
Admission and parking are free. The show will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Several area clubs will be represented, and flying models of various kinds will be at the show. Academy of Model Aeronautics member are welcome to fly.
Club members will provide information and help to those interested in learning to fly radio-control airplanes.
Food and drinks will be available.
To get to the field, drive north through Harriman; turn right at traffic light No. 11 and follow the signs.
