The Humane Society of Roane County Rescue Team — in a desperate attempt to find forever homes for several dogs — will be hosting the “I’ll be home for Christmas” free adoption drive during this holiday season.
If you would be willing and able to offer a loving forever home to one of these deserving dogs, you can call 376-2474 for more information or visit our website at www.petfinder.com//shelters/TN391 to receive an application.
Dogs may also be viewed on the website; just look for the double asterisks (**) beside their names.
Please note that not all dogs on the website are being offered for free, just the ones with the double asterisks.
While there is no adoption fee, our application and adoption process still applies.
Our doggie overload is due to the loss of a foster home and an over abundance of animals in need.
We do not have a sperate facility; all our animals are in foster care.
We are a “no kill” organization of volunteers. We operate on donations.
All dogs available have been spayed or neutered and are up to date on their shots.
Please help us help them during this holiday season.
